Pros & Cons Pros 34 g for a full liter of rigid capacity Threads directly onto Sawyer Squeeze and Mini filters Costs a couple of dollars and is sold at nearly every trailside store Holds up far longer than a disposable bottle should Recyclable, and easy to replace when it wears out Cons Sidewalls deform with repeated filtering from the bottle Narrow mouth makes filling from shallow sources awkward Not safe for hot liquids Tall profile can snag and slip out of side pockets in brush Needs periodic replacement, and gets grimy over months of use Who Should Buy This Anyone running a Sawyer Squeeze or Mini on a thru-hike or long section hike should carry at least one, and probably two

or a record player
